January 2011, INFRA Prototype was tested in a real critical infrastructure, M-30 emergency tunnels.
Emergency responders to crises events in critical infrastructures, such as explosions in underground metro stations or large building complexes, require specialised equipment in order to effectively, and safely, manage the response.
The project INFRA has developed a suite of sensing and communication services tailored to meet the strict requirements of such emergency responders.
In order to prove the final validity of the INFRA solution performed along this last years, the consortium test the technical deliverables deployed in a live trial, conducted at an actual customer site (a section of the M30 expressway near Madrid, Spain).
